OF ALAMEDA HELD FRIDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY lOth, 1933 . . .
The meeting convened at 8 otclock with Council-president Murray presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Leydecker, Morris, Shanly, Schaefer and
President Murray (5) were noted present. Absent: None.
The Clerk offered for filing Notice of Call of Special Meeting and affidavit
1. of delivery of service. Ordered filed.
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS:
2. A communication in reference to agreement with State of California for care
of single unemployed Alameda citizens in the State labor camps, which was presented
to the regular meeting of the Council held January 3rd, 1933, was again presented, and
on motion of Mr. Schaefer, seconded by Mr. Morris and carried unanimously, the Mayor
was authorized to sign the agreement between the State of California and the City of
Alameda, providing for this service.
RESOLUTIONS
3. Mr.Schaetr introduced and moved the adoption of
Resolution No. 1727
Rescinding Resolution No. 1726
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morris and on roll call carried unanimously.
4. Er. Shanly introduced and moved the adoption of
esolution No. 1728
Submitting Certain Charter Amendments to be
Voted Upon at the General Municipal Election
to be Held in Said City on Tuesday, March
14, 1933
Mr. Schaefer seconded the motion and on roll call carried unanimously.
5. Mr. Shanly introduced and moved the adoption of
Resolution No. 1729
Submitting an Ordinance No. N.S., Amending
Ordinance No, 276 N.S. Known as the Pension Or-
dinance, entitled "An Ordinance Providing for a
Relief, Health, Life Insurance and Pension Fund
for Members of the Fire and Police Departments
of the City of Alameda: Also for the Administra-
tion of Said. Fund, to be Voted Upon at the Gen-
eral Municipal Election to be Held in Said City
on Tuesday, March 14,1933.
Mr.Schaelh'r seconded the motion and on roll call carried unanimously.
There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet
in regular session, Tuesday evening, February 21, 1933, at 8 otclock.
