1933-12-20 Regular CC MinutesREGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF T=, CITY OF AL.:11.,TEDA HELD WEDNESDAY EVENING, DECEYBER 20th, 1933. The meeting convened at 8 o'clock with Council President Murray presiding. The roll was called and. Councilmen Eschen, Bruzzone, Leydecker and. President Murray, (4) were noted present. Absent: Councilman Morris, (1). The minutes of the regular meeting of December 5th, 1933, were approved as read V!RITTEN C onruNicATIONS: 11 From the City Planning Commission in reference to the reclassification of property on the southerly line of Buena Vista Avenue, east of Stanton Street; the communication was laid over until the next meeting after the Council had been addressed by Mr. Bard- olini, representing the owner of the property. 2./ From the City Planning Commission, recommending the reclassification of the prop- erty on the northerly line of Central Avenue 151.92 feet west of Oak Street. On motion of Councilman Eschen, seconded by Councilman Bruzzone and unanimously carried, the rec- ommendation of the Planning Commission was adopted,that the property be reclassified from Business District, Class III, to Business District, Class V. / 3./ From the City Planning Commission, recommending the reclassification of the property on the northerly line of Central Avenue, 97 feet west of Oak Street. On motion of Councilman Eschen, seconded by Councilman Bruzzone and unanimously carried, the recom- mendation of the Planning Commission was adopted, that the property be reclassified from Special District, Class IV, to Business District, Class V. 4. Councilman Bruzzone introduced and moved the adoption of "Resolution No. Transferring 5,000.00 From Fund to the General Fund" Councilman Leydecker seconded the motion and 1812 the Electric Light on roll call it was carried unanimously. 7. Councilman Eschen introduced and moved the adoption of "Resolution No. Transferring 5,000.00 From the General Fund to the Municipal Bus Fund." Councilman Bruzzone seconded the motion and on roll call it was carried unanimously. 8. Councilman Leydecker introduced and moved the adoption of "Resolution No. 1814 Transferring 4,569.56 from the Electric Light Fund to the General Fund." Councilman Eschen seconded the motion and on roll call it was carried unanimously. ORDINANCES INTRODUCED: The following ordinances were introduced and laid over under provision of the charter: 9 "Ordinance No. New Series RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY (North line Central Av. 151.92 feet west of Oak Street)" 10. "Ordinance No. New Series RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY (Lot 97 feet west from Oak Street, 54.92 x 140 feet - North line of Central Avenue.)" 12. "Ordinance No. New Series RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY (Lot on Buena Vista Avenue, southerly line, 101.25 feet from easterly line of Stanton Street)" "Ordinance No. New Series An Ordinance Designating San Jose Avenue as a Through Boulevard and. Providing for the Erection of Traffic Stop Signals on Both Sides of Said Avenue Between Park and High Streets at all Intersecting Streets, and. Re- quiring the Drivers or Operators of all Vehicles to Come to a Full Stop at Street Intersections Before Crossing Said Avenue." December 20, 1933. Absent: Councilman Morris. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in regular session Tuesday evening, January 2nd, 1934, at 8 o'clock. ■`.
