HELD THURSDAY AFTERNOON, SEPTEMBER 12th ....... 1935
The meeting convened at 4:00 o'clock P.M. with President Roebke presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and Presi-
dent Roebke, (5), were noted present. Absent: None.
1. The Clerk offered for filing the Affidavit of Service of Notice calling this
Special Meeting, and copy of said notice. Ordered filed.
RESOLUTIONS INTRODUCED:
Councilman Broyles introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1985
Adopting Budget for the Fiscal Year Commencing
July 1, 1935 and Ending June 30, 1936",
Councilman Munro seconded the motion and on roll call carried by the following
vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3). Noes: Council-
men Eschen and Morris, (2). Absent: None.
3. Councilman Munro introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1986
Fixing the Rate and Levying a Tax on all Real
and Personal Property in the City of Alameda
for the Fisoal Year 1935-1936, and Apportioning
the Same Among the Several Funds of the City",
Councilman Broyles seconded the motion and on roll call carried by the following
vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3) Noes: Councilmen
Eschen and Morris, (2). Absent: None.
4. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet
in regular session on Tuesday morning, September 17th, 1935, at 11:00 o'clock
