1935-12-12 Special CC MinutesSPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD THURSDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 12th ....... 1935
The meeting convened at 7:30 o'clock P.M. with President Roebke presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President
Roebke, (5), were noted present. Absent: None.
1, The Clerk presented for filing the affidavit of service of the notice calling this
special meeting.
2.v' Councilman Eschen moved, seconded by Councilman Broyles, that a Committee consisting
of the Mayor, City Attorney and President of the Board of Library Trustees be appointed
to confer with P.W.A. officials regarding status of the Branch Public Library. On roll
call this motion oarried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris
Munro and. President Roebke, (5). Noes: None. Absent: None.
RESOLUTIONS:
3. Councilman Broyles introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 2017
Ratifying Action of City Attorney re Electric Sub-Station,"
Councilman Munro seconded the motion and on roll call carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3 ), Noes: Councilmen Eschen
and Morris, (2). Absent: None,
4. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in
regular session on Tuesday morning, December 17th, 1935, at 11:00 o'clock A.M.
