HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON, JANUARY 21st, . . . . . . . . 1936
The meeting convened at 12:15 o'clock P.M. with President Roebke presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3),
were noted present. Absent: Councilman Eschen and Morris, (2).
ORDINANCES INTRODUCED:
1. The following ordinance was introduced and laid over under provisions of the
Charter:
"Ordinance No.
New Series
An Ordinance Amending Section 24 of an Ordinance Entitled
'Establishing Districts or Zones and Regulatig Therein the
Use of Property, Height of Buildings, and Required Open
Spaces for Light and Ventilation of such Buildings, and
Repealing all Ordinances in Conflict Herewith, Including
Ordinances No. 227 N.S., 319 N.S., and 338 N.S., Excepting,
however, the Zone Map Heretofore Adopted by Ordinance No.
227 N.S., and Referred to in Section (1) hereof'Relative
to Building Permits,"
2./ Pursuant to a motion made, seconded and carried at the regular meeting of
January 21st, 1936, the application of Herbert D. Wise for rehearing on rezoning
application was presented, and there were present Commissioners Howard and Wbod
of the City Planning Commission, Commissioners Schlichting, Stow and President
Haslett being absent. The City Clerk stated that notices of the proposed joint
session were delivered to the home of each member of the City Planning Commission
on January 21st, 1936. The epplication of Herbert D. Wise was read by the
Clerk, also a protest signed by twenty-eight citizens of the vicinity, protesting
against the rezoning of the property.
3. There being no objections by the members of the City Planning Commission
present at this meeting, Councilman Broyles moved the introduction of
"Ordinance No.
New Series
Reclassifying Property
(N.E.Corner Union and Central)"
for a first reading, seconded by Councilman Munro and carried by the following
vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3). Absent: Council-
men Eschen and Morris, (2). Noes: None.
4. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Council adjourned to net in
adjourned regular session on the 29th day of January, 1936, at 3 o'clock P.M.
