1937-05-26 Adjourned Regular CC MinutesADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA HELD WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, MAY 26th 1937 The meeting convened at 5 o'clock P.M. with President Weichhart presiding. The roll was called, and Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer Morris and President Weichhart, (5), were noted present. Absent: None. ORDINANCES INTRODUCED: 1. The following ordinances were, introduced and laid over under provision of the Charter: "Ordinance No. New Series Repealing Section 2-492 of the Alameda Municipal Cod z and Adding Section 2-492 to Said Code Relating to Redemption Clerk". "Ordinance No. New Series Repealing Sections 2-361, 2-362 and 2-363 of the Alameda Municipal Code Relating to the City Planning Commission". "Ordinance No. New Series Amending Sections 3-232 and 3-421 of the Alameda Municipal Code Relating to Taxation". "Ordinance No. New Series Amending an Ordinance Entitled 'Establishing Districts or Zones and Regulating Therein the Use of Property, Height of Buildings, and Required Open Spaces for Light and Ventilation of Such Buildings, and Repealing All Ordinances in Conflict Herewith, Including Ordinances Nos. 227 N.S., 319 N.S. and 338 N.S., Excepting, However, the Zone Map Heretofore Adopted by Ordinance No 227 N.S., and Referred to in Section (1) Hereof', by Adding Thereto a New Section to be Known as Sec. 37, Relating to the City Planning Board". "Ordinance No. New Series Amending the Alameda Municipal Code by Adding to Title XIV, Chapter 3 Thereof a New Article to be Known as Article 9, Relating to Fire Prevention for Automobile Wrecking Establishments". "Ordinance No. New Series Amending the Alameda Municipal Code by .A.dding to Title XII, Chapter 7 Thereof a New Article to be Known as Article 4, Relating to Automobile Wrecking Establishments". A general discussion of the proposed resolution to be introduced at the regular meeting of June 1st, 1937, providing for the granting of a concession to sell merchandise in Washington Park: 5.
