MONDAY EVENING, AUGUST 8th, 1932
The meeting convened at 7:30 o'clock with Council-president Murray presiding.
Mr. Schaefer moved that Loreme Beatie be appointed City Clerk pro tem, seconded
by Mr. Shanly and same carried unanimously.
The roll was called and Councilmen Leydecker, Schaefer, Shanly and President
Murray (4) were noted present. Absent: Councilman Morris, (1).
The Clerk offered for filing notice of call of special meeting and affidavit of
delivery of service. Ordered filed.
2. v/ Mr. Shanly introduced and moved the adoption of
"Resolution No. 1677
Resolution Requesting that Proper Laterals
and Tube Across Estuary Connecting Alameda
to the San Francisco-Oakland Bridge Head
be Included in the Total Cost of the San
Francisco-Oakland Bridge Project"
Mr. Leydecker seconded the motion to adopt the Resolution and it was adopted and passed
unanimously.
There being no further business to transact the Council adjourned to meet in
regular session, Tuesday evening, August 16th, 1932, at 8 o'clock.
