SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY - - - - - - - - - - -- - - SEPTEMBER 4, 1984
The meeting convened at 7:55 p.m. (at the conclusion of the Housing Authority
meeting) with Chairman Diament presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by
Commissioner Monsef. The Invocation was given by Reverend David Gattey, Northbrae
Community Church, Berkeley.
ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and
Chairman Diament - 5.
Absent: None.
RESOLUTIONS
Resolution No. 84 -18 "Community Improvement Commission accepting amendment
to Preliminary Plan and directing preparation of amendment to Community
Improvement Plan."
•Mr. Scullin, 1120 Chestnut Street, expressed concern that Phase II of
Marina Village had not been excluded from the Plan. The City Manager stated
UDAG funds were being expended primarily for public improvements in the
Phase II Project.
Commissioner Lucas motioned, seconded by Commissioner Hanna, that the
resolution be adopted; the motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Commissioners Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and Chairman Diament - 5.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
