MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HELD TUESDAY JULY 18, 1989
The meeting convened at 7:38 p.m., with Chairman Corica
presiding. The invocation was given by Rev. Doug Henderson and
the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Withrow.
ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow,
and Chairman Corica - 5.
Absent: None.
MINUTES
Chairman Corica and Commissioner Thomas stated that they were
absent from the June 20th meeting and would abstain on approving
the minutes for June 20th. Commissioner Withrow made a motion to
accept the minutes of the regular Community Improvement
Commission Meeting of June 20, 1989. Commissioner Camicia
seconded the motion and it was carried by the following voice.
vote: Ayes: Commissioners Arnerich, Camicia and Withrow - 3.
Noes: None. Absent: None. Abstentions: Chairman Corica and
Commissioner Thomas - 2.
RESOLUTIONS
89 -55 Resolution No. 89 -41 "Approving and adopting 1989 -1990
Budget." Adopted.
Commissioner Withrow moved that the Council approve the Alameda
Community Improvement Commission budget for the year 1989 -1990,
on approval of the City Council of the loan authorization in the
amount of $116,441 from the General Funds. Commissioner Arnerich
seconded the motion which was carried by unanimous voice vote -
5.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission,
the meeting was adjourned by Chairman Corica at 7:44 p.m.
