TUESDAY- -NOVEMBER 16, 1999- -7:25 P.M.
Chair Appezzato convened the Special Meeting at 7:40 p.m.
Commissioner Johnson led the Pledge of Allegiance. Elder John
Pillitiere, Alameda Chapel, gave the Invocation.
ROLL CALL - Present: Commissioners Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson,
Kerr and Chair Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
MINUTES
(99-34) Minutes of the Special Community Improvement Commission
(CIC) Meeting and Special Joint City Council, Alameda Reuse and
Redevelopment Authority (ARRA), and CIC Meeting held on September
7, 1999; and the Special Joint City Council, ARRA, CIC, and Housing
Authority Board of Commissioners Meeting, Special Joint ARRA and
CIC Meeting, and Special CIC Meeting held on October 6, 1999.
Councilmember DeWitt moved approval of the Minutes.
Councilmember Johnson seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 5.
AGENDA ITEM
(99-35) Public Hearing to consider adoption of a Second Five-Year
Implementation Plan, 1999-2000 through 2003-2004, for the Business
and Waterfront Improvement Project and the West End Community
Improvement Project.
Chair Appezzato opened the public portion of the Hearing.
There being no speaker, Chair Appezzato closed the Public Hearing.
Councilmember Johnson moved the matter be continued to December 7,
1999.
Councilmember Kerr seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
voice vote - 5.
