SPECIAL JOINT MEETING BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL,
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION, AND
ALAMEDA REUSE AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
WEDNESDAY- -MAY 3, 2000- -4:30 P.M.
Mayor/Chair Appezzato convened the Special Meeting at 4:35 p.m.
ROLL CALL - Present: Councilmembers/Commissioners/Board Members
Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr, and
Mayor/Chair Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
The Special Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(CC 00-230) (CIC 00-15) Conference with Real Property Negotiator;
Property: Catellus Project Site, including the Fleet Industrial
Supply Center and East Housing; Negotiating Parties: Catellus
Development Corporation; Under Negotiations: Price and Terms of
Payment; and
(CC 00-231) (CIC 00-16) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing
Litigation; Name of Case: Renewed Hope Housing Advocates and ARC
Ecology v. City of Alameda and Community Improvement Commission.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened and
Mayor/Chair Appezzato announced that regarding Conference with Real
Property Negotiator, instructions were given to the Real Property
Negotiators and a briefing was obtained; regarding Conference with
Legal Counsel, the Council/Commission/Board obtained a briefing and
gave instructions to the City Attorney/Legal Counsel.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Appezzato adjourned the
Special Joint Meeting at 5:40 p.m.
