WEDNESDAY- -JANUARY 31, 2001- -5:30 P.M.
Mayor/Chair Appezzato convened the Special Joint Meeting at 5:30
p.m.
Roll Call -
Public Comment
Present: Councilmembers/Commissioners Daysog,
DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and Mayor/Chair
Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
Marti Buxton, Vice President, Acquisitions and Entitlements,
Catellus Development Corporation, encouraged the City to resolve
the litigation.
The Special Joint Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to
consider:
(CC 01-047) (CIC 01-01) Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing
Litigation; Name of Case: Renewed Hope Housing Advocates v. City of
Alameda, Community Improvement Commission, and Alameda Reuse and
Redevelopment Authority.
Following the Closed Session, the Special Joint Meeting was
reconvened and Mayor/Chair Appezzato announced that the
Council/Commission/Authority discussed litigation and gave
instructions to the City Attorney and staff.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor/Chair Appezzato adjourned
the Special Joint Meeting at 5:50 p.m.
