TUESDAY - - APRIL 17, 2001 - - 7:25 P.M.
Mayor/Chair Appezzato convened the Special Joint Meeting at 7:29
p.m. Councilmember/Commissioner/Board Member Kerr led the Pledge
of Allegiance. Reverend David Borglum, Home of Truth Spiritual
Center, gave the Invocation.
ROLL CALL - Present: Councilmembers/Commissioners/Board
Members Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and
Mayor/Chair Appezzato - 5.
Absent: None.
CONSENT CALENDAR
Vice Mayor/Commissioner DeWitt moved approval of the Consent
Calendar.
Councilmember/Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion, which
carried by unanimous voice vote - 5.

the paragraph number.]
(CC *01-173) (CIC *01-12) Minutes of the Special Joint City
Council and Community Improvement Commission Meeting of April 3,
2001. Approved.
[Note: Councilmember Kerr abstained because she was absent from the
April 3, 2001.]
(CC *01-174) (CIC *01-13) Recommendation to approve Mid-Year
Budget Adjustments; authorize New Positions consistent with the
Economic Development Strategic Plan, Downtown Vision, Housing Forum
Implementation Program and Development Services Department
Reorganization; and appropriate funds for purchase of Environmental
Insurance. Accepted.
