MONDAY IITANING, JANUARY 26TH, 1914.
The Council met in s,)ecial session in response to the call of Mayor
Otis.
The meeting was called to order by President Alfred Morgenstern in
the absence of Mayor Otis who was ill.
The Roll was called and Councilmen Bullock, Hammond, MacRae,
Morgenstern, Morris, Probst, Roth and Stewart (6) were noted present.
Absent: Councilman Bartlett, (1).
V The call of the meetinc and affidavit filed by the Police Department
were read ,.nd ordered filed.
A motion was made by Mr. Hammond seconded h Mr. Probst a Committee
of three be a7Tointed to draft Resolutions in respect to the memory of the
late City Encineer, I. N. Chapman. Carried.
President Morgenster appointed Councilmen Hammond Bullock and MacRae
as members of that Committee.
A motion was then made by Mr. Hammond, seconded by Mr. Roth that a
Committee of three be arreointed to make arrangements for the funeral of the
late I. N. Chapman. Carried. President Morgenstern appointed Councilmen
3ullock, Roth and Probst as members of that Committee.
A motion was made by Mr. Hammond, seconded by Mr. Stewart that the
Council adjourn out of respect to the late I. N. Chapman.
