HELD THURSDAY AFTEINDON,NOVEMBER 21st, . . . . . 1935
The meeting convened at 5:30 o'clock, P.M., with President Roebke presiding.
The roll was called and Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President
Roebke, (5), were noted present. Absent: None.
FILING:
Z. The Clerk presented for filing the affidavit of service of the notice calling
this special meeting.
2.1 Councilman Broyles moved that the plans and specifications as completed by
Carl Werner, Architect, and approved by the P.W.A. for the Branch Library at Eighth
Street and Santa Clara Avenue be adopted, seconded by Councilman Morris and on roll
call carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro,
and President Roebke, (5). Noes: None. Absent: None.
3. Councilman Broyles moved that the City Clerk be authorized and empowered to
advertise for bids for the construction of the Branch Public Library, in the time,
-form and manner as required by P.W.A. Form #179, and that bids be received up to
10 o'clock A.M. on December 7th, 1935, seconded by Councilman Munro and on roll call
carried by the following vote; Ayes: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and
President Roebke, (5). Noes: None. Absent: None.
4. There being no further business to transact, the Council adjourned to meet in
regular session on Tuesday morning, December 3rd, 1935, at 11:00 o'clock A.M.
