ADJOURNEDREGULARMEETINGOFTHECOUNCILOFTHECITYOFALAMEDA HELDTUESDAYAFTERNOON--------------MAY26,1970 Themeetingconvenedat4:30o'clockwithPresidentLaCroixpresiding. ROLLCALL: NotedpresentwereCouncilmenFore,Levy,Longaker,McCallandPresidentLaCroix,Jr.,(5). Absent:None. NEWBUSINESS: 1.BroughtupfordiscussionwasthematterofappointmentsofmemberstothevariousCityBoards andCommissions. CouncilmanMcCallmovedtheCouncilgointoexecutivesessionforitsdeliberations.Themotionwas secondedbyCouncilmanLevyandunanimouslycarried. TheCouncildiscussedprospectiveappointeestofillthevacancyonthePlanningBoardcreatedbythe recentdeathofMr.CarlW.JohnsonandforappointmenttotheHousingAuthorityoftheCityofAlameda effectiveMay15,1970. ItwasdeterminedthatformalactionwouldbetakenatthenextregularmeetingoftheCouncilon June3,1970,andtheCityAttorneywasrequestedtoprepareappropriateresolutionsforthispurpose.
