COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION MEETING
TUESDAY- -MARCH 16, 2010- -6:00 P.M.
Vice Mayor/Board Member/Commissioner deHaan convened the meeting at 6:10 p.m.
Roll Call – Present: Councilmembers/Board Members/ Commissioners deHaan,
Gilmore, Matarrese, Tam and Mayor/Chair Johnson – 5.
Note: Mayor/Chair Johnson arrived at 6:40 p.m.
Absent: None.
The meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(10-107 CC) Conference with Labor Negotiators; Agency negotiators: Interim City
Manager and Human Resources Director; Employee organizations: Alameda Fire
Managers Association, Alameda Police Managers Association and Executive
Management
(10-108 CC/ARRA/10-12 CIC) Conference with Real Property Negotiator; Property:
Alameda Point; Negotiating Parties: City of Alameda, ARRA, CIC, SunCal, Navy; Under
Negotiations: Price and terms of payment.
Following the Closed Session, the meeting was reconvened and Mayor Johnson
announced that regarding Labor, the Council received a briefing on the status of labor
negotiations; no action was taken; and regarding Real Property, the Council / Board /
Commission received a briefing from the Real Property Negotiator; no action was taken.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor/Chair Johnson adjourned the meeting at 7:20
p.m.
