Resolution 15100CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 15100 ACCEPT A GRANT OF EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FROM THE CASITAS ALAMEDA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION FOR A SEWER PUMP STATION EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE COMMON AREA IN TRACT 2936 (VERDEMAR DRIVE AND FLORA VISTA DRIVE) IN EXCHANGE FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION AND DIRECT THE RECORDING OF THE GRANT OF EASEMENT WHEREAS, the Alameda Public Works Department has developed a Capital Improvement Plan to rehabilitate its sanitary sewer pump stations, and WHEREAS, the plans for the Group 2 - Sewer Pump Station Renovations for Reliability and Safety Improvements Project are reliant on the need of a permanent sewer easement within the common area of Tract 2936; and WHEREAS, the Casitas Alameda Homeowners Association, the owner of the common area within Tract 2936, has agreed to convey to the City of Alameda a permanent easement within the common area for sewer pump station purposes in exchange for $1,000; and WHEREAS, the interests of the City of Alameda, its residents, and businesses will benefit by the improved sanitary sewer pump station. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of City of Alameda does hereby authorize the Mayor to accept the permanent sewer easement located within the Common Area in Tract 2936, as set forth and described in the attached Grant of Easement, and direct the City Clerk to record in Alameda County the Grant of Easement.
