ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN SUBDIVISIONS
IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND/OR STREETS, GENERALLY,
TN AOCORDAECE WITH TITLE V, CHAPTER 1 07 TEE ALAMEDA
RIUNICIPAL CODE..
WHEREAS, Title V, Chapter 1, of the Alameda Mdnicipal Code provides
generally. how streets and crossings must be constructed and also provides
that all. of the work described therein.. shall be in accordance with such
specifications thorefor as the City Council has adopted or shall, froaL time
to time, adopt; and
WH=AS, the City.. Council of the City 01 Alameda has not heretofore
adopted any specifications in connection with the installation of improvements
in subdivisions in tho City of Alameda. and
WHEREAS thave are several subdivisions contemplated in the City of
Usmoda at this time; and
WHEREAB, the public in requires that the Council shall adopt
specifications and special provisions for She installation of improvements in
subdivisions in the City of Alameda and/or streets; and
WHEREAS, the City. Engineer of the 011 4 of Alameda has prepared and,
presented proposed specifications and special provisions for 1101 purposes
above set forth, which said specifications and special crovisions are dated
O•taber 1, 1946, and were filed in the office of the City. Clerk of said City
on October 1, 1946;
NOW, THEREFORE, 1110 11 RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid specifications ann special provisions for the installation
of Improvements in subdivisions in the City of Alameda and/.or streets, dated
October 1, 1446, be, and the same are Esreby approvad and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the City Engineer of the city. of suLamada
is hereby charged with the duty of seeing that said specifications and
special provisions above referred to are strictly complied. with.
