Resolution 034133.08 RESOLUTION NO. 3413 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF HEATING FACILITIES IN THE ARMORY BUILDING AT WASHINGTON PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING TEE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME. REAS, public interest and necessity require the installation of heating facilities in the Armory Building at Washington Park; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and. Plans for said work, which Specifications and. Provisions are numbered. PW 11-46-10 and were filed in the office of the City Clerk of said city on November 6, 1946; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and. Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted. RESeLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said. Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized. RESOLVED, THER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P.M., on Tuesday, November 19, 1946, for the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and processes, implements, tools and machinery necessary for the work hereinafter referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for the Installation of Heating Facilities in the Armory Building", or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and.
