ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING ONE (1)
NEW 1946 OR 1947 TWO-DOOR AND/OR FOUR-DOOR SEDAN
TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one (1) new, 1946 or 1947 model, two-door and/or
four-door sedan automobile to the City of Al eda, No. MS 11-46-13, filed in the
office of the City Clerk on November 19, 1946, be, and the same are hereby, approved
and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, the 3rd day of
December, 1946, for the furnishing to the City of one (1) new, 1946 or 1947 model,
two-door and/or four-door sedan automobile in accordance with said. Specifications
and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal
for Automobile", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said. City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda
Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions
of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of November, 1946, by the following
vote, to wit:
