Resolution 03421RESOLUTION NO. 3421 CREATING TWO ADDITIONAL POSITIONS OF "MAINTENANCE MECHANIC" IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT O1 THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES AND FIXING THE SALARY THEREOF BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows: Section 1. Two (2) additional positions of "Maintenance Mechanic" are hereby created and established in the Street Department of the City of Alameda. Section 2. The duties of the position of Maintenance Mechanic and of the person holding such position shall be as follows: To perform a wide variety of semi-skilled and mechanical tasks in connection with the maintenance of grounds, buildings, and mechanical equipment and to do related work as assigned or directed. Section 3. The salary for such additional maintenance mechanics shall be, and is hereby, fixed, at $235.00 per month on the basis of a 40-hour work week; that the hourly rate for over forty (40) hours work per week is hereby fixed at $2.04. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall super- sede those portions of Resolution No. 3350, and of any other resolution in conflict herewith, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only, hereby rescinded and annulled. * * * the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of November, 1946, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid, (5).
