Resolution 03424ktq RESOLUTION NO. 3424 IN MORIAM OF JANE ISABEL CTJRTIS WITH PROFOUND SORROW the Council of the City of Alameda records the death of one of its faithful and beloved employees, JANE ISABEL CURTIS, who served the people of the City of Alameda for more than sixteen years as Librarian; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, in recognition of the long and loyal service rendered by Miss Curtis, and the fine cultural influence in- culcated upon all with whom she associated, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby expresses its sense of personal loss and its deep gratitude for the privilege of having had such a splendid leader in the City's activities. In her employment with the City, she gave wholeheartedly of her time and ability, and endeared herself to all those with whom she came in contact; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread in full upon the minutes of this meeting, and that a copy thereof be transmitted to the family of Miss Curtis, that it may extend to its rnembers a sincere expression of sympathy and condolence; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that when this meeting of the Council of the City of Alamedaadjourns, it shall do so in respect to the memory of JANE ISABEL CURTIS. * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of November, 1946, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid, (5).
