APPOILTINO- MEMBER OF THE SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City. of Alameda, and upon
nomination of the Mayor, Mr. S. Chesley Anderson is hereby appointed to the
office of member of the Social Service Board of the City of Alameda for a term
expiring June 30, 1948, to fill the unexpired term of Mrs. P. S. Barton,
deceased, and to serve until his successor is appointed and qualified.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced, and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of December, 1946, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Osborn, Sweeney and Eresident Branscheid, (4).
