RESOLUTION NC. 3446
DETERMINING THE MAXIMUM PARKING TIME TO BE ALLOWED
IN VARIOUS PARTS OF PARKING NETER ZONES ESTABLISHED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 903, NEW SERIES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows:
WHEREAS, the Council of the City cf Alameda did adopt, on the 3d day
or December, 1946, Ordinance No. 903, New Series, amendin,; the Alameda Municipal
Code by adding to Title XVII, Chapter 3 thereof, a new article known as Article
6, which article contains sections 17-361 to 17-3614, both inclusive; and.
WHEREAS, Section 17-364 of said Article 6 provides as follows:
"The City Council shail, by resolution, determine the maximum
parking time to be allowed in various parts of such parking
meter zones, and the Chief of Police shall cause signs which
will fulfill the requirements of the resolution of the City
Council pertaining thereto, to be placed in the various parts
of such zones as designated by said resolutions:"
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Section 17-364, the City Council has deter-
mined and does hereby determine that the maximum parking limits to be allowed
in the various parts of said parking meter zones shall be, and the same are
hereby determined to be, for the times, and at the places, particularly set
forth upon the Exhibits hereunto annexed and designated as follows:
"Description of Time Limit Parking Zones -- Park Street
Area, Exhibit ,A, ";
"Description of Time Limit Parking Zones -- Webster
Street Area, Exhibit 'B' ";
each of said exhibits being hereby referred to and expressly made a part hereof
by reference.
BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective at
the same time as said Ordinance No, 903, New Series, amending the Alameda Munici-
pal Code, shall be effective, to wit, on the 3d day of January, 1947.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the 0ity of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of December, 1946, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None..
