RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that the SpeciNtcatio ns
for furnishing 20-foot light center pendant type street lighting standards to
the City. cf Alameda, 80. MS l-471, filed in the office of the City Cle rk on
January 7, 1947, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council. of the City. cf Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, the 21 t day of
January, 1947, for the furnishing to the City of 20-foot light center pendant
type stre.,, lighting standards, in accordance with said Specifications. Bids
must be presented to the City Clerk, in. the City Hall, Alameda, California,
under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 20-foot
Light Center Pendant Type Street Lighting Standards", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that, the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the qity of Alameda
In regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of January, 1947 by the following
vote, to wit:
A=3: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and 1-resident
Branscheid, (5 ) .
