AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT =I FEDERAL WORKS
AGENCY, BUREAU OF COTS:UNITY FACILITIES, FOR CULVERTS
AND STORM WATER DISPOSAL SYS TT'S PLANNING FUNDS**UNIT
11. (LYING NORTH OF ATLANTIC AVE1, AND WEST OF FIFTH
STREET (EXTENDED)
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda, pursuant to authorization contained in
Resolution No. 3267 adopted by this Council on January 2, 1946, filed with the
Federal 7Torks Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities, an application for a loan
of Federal funds for the purpose of planning the Culverts and Storm Water
Disposal Systems of the City of Alameda, said application being filed «der the
terms of the War Irobilization and Reconversion Act of 1944, Title V thereof;
and
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Comm ity Facilities of the Federal Works
Agency is prepared to enter into an agreement with the City to advance the s
of 2,900.00 for the aforesaid purposes and has submitted an Agreement and
Public Voucher for Advance, BCF Form 405, stating the terms and conditions under
which payments pursuant thereto will be made to the City; and
WIIEREAS, The City Council has heard read said agreement in full and is
familiar with the contents thereof and the form of said agreement has been filed
with the City Clerk on Tanuary 7, 1947;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TID,' CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the form of agreement herinabove referred to, and the ter and conditions
thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTIIER, that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to execute and the City Clerk be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to attest and certify an agreement substantially
in the form and containing the terms and conditions set fo-th in the form of agree-
ment filed with the City Clerk, as aforesaid.
