CREATING A SPECIAL FUND TO BE KNOWN AS "STREET LIGHTING
FUND—LINCOLN AVEh BETNEEN WEESTER STREET AND FI7TH
STREET, ANT PACIFIC AVENUE FROM ?OURTH TO MAIN STREETS",
AND TRANSFERRING 47,000.00 FROM CAPITAL OUTLAYS FUND

=REA'S, the street lighting system on Lincoln Avenue between Webster
Street and Fifth Street, along old Southern Pacific richt-of-way from Lincoln
Avenue to Pacific Avenue, and on Pacific Avenue from Fourth to Main Streets,
requires a substantial capital outlay for major improvement thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is necessry and proper that funds be drawn from the
Capital Outlays Fund for the purpose of said improvement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAY-EDA
that a special fund to be known as "Street Lighting, d--Lincoin Avenue
Between Webster Street and Fifth Street, and Pacific Avenue from Fourth to
Main streets", is hereby created.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of ?17,000.00 be, and the same
is hereby, transferred from the Capital Outlays F d of the City of Alameda
to said Street Lighting F d--Lincoln Avenue Between Webster Street and Fifth
Street, and Pacific Avenue from Fourth to Min Streets.
The Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to
create said special fund and to make the necessary transfers on their
respective books.

of Alameda in regular neetinc: assembled on the 21st day of January, 1947,
