ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL FUND OF TEE CITY 0]? ALAMEDA, TO BE
PaTO7ATT AS "FEDERAL POST-WAR PLANNING FUND NO. 4-P-46.
(STORM DRAINS NORTH OF CENTRAL AVENUE, EAST OF HIBBARD
STREET TO PARE AVEN1JE)
UHEREAS, by Resolution No, 3454 adopted by this Council on January
7, 1947, the City of Alameda entered into an Agreement and Public Voucher
for Advance, BCF Form 405, with the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Co u-
nity Facilities, for a loan of Federal funds for the purpose of planning
the culverts and storm water disposal systems of the City of Alameda, said
Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance, PC]? Form 405, being entered into
pursuant to the terms of the War robilization and Reconversion Act of 1944,
Title V thereof; and
'JHEREAS, pursuant to said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance,
BCF Form 405, the said. Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities,
has advanced to the City of Alameda the sum of 6,000.00; and
WHEREAS, a further s not to exceed 6,000.00 may be paid to
the city of Alameda by said Federal Works Acency, Fureau of Conratsity
Facilities; and
WHEREAS, said total sum of not to exceed $12,000.00, provided to
be paid to said City of Alameda pursuant to said Agreement and Public Voucher
for Advance, BCF Form 405, shall be expended in plans for culverts and storm
water disposal systems in that part of the City of Alameda lying north of
Central Avenue and east of and including Hibbard Street (extended) to and
including Park Avenue extended);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C OTMC IL OF TIT, CITY OF
ALAEEDA that there be, and is hereby, created and established a special fund
of the City of Alameda, which fund shall be known as "Federal Post-War Plann-
ing Fund No. 4-P-469. (Storm Drains North of Central Avenue, East of Hibbard
Street, to Park Avenue)”
BE IT IAIRTLER RESOLVED that all moneys received by the City of
Alameda from the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Comm ity Facilities, Pur-
suant to the provisions of said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance,
BCF Form 405, with the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities,
be deposited in the City Treasury to the credit of said Federal Post-War
Planning , _ .d No. 4-P-469. (Storm Drains North of Central Avenue, East of
Hibbard ;treet, to Park Avenue), and that all moneys in said fund shall be
expended only for the purposes authorized by said Agreement and Public
Voucher for Advance, PC]? Form 405, and may be appropriated from time to
time.
The Auditor and Treasurer of the City are hereby authorized and
directed to set up and maintain in their respective offices such acco tins
records as will at all times show the receipts, disbursements and unexpected
balance in said fund.
RESOLVED, FURTI:aP,, that this resolution shall supersede all
resolutions, or portions thereof, in conflict therewith.
