WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3456 adopted by this Council on January
72 19472 the City of Alameda entered into an Agreement and Public Voucher
for Advance, BCF Form 405, with the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Comm ity
Facilities, for a loan of Federal funds for the purpose of planning the cul-
verts and storm water disposal systems of the City of Alameda, said Agreement
and public Voucher for Advance, BCF Form 405, being entered into pursuant to
the terms of the War robilization and Reconversion Act of 1944, Title V
teereof; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Agreement and Public 'Toucher for Advance,
DCF Form 405, the said liederal Works Agency, D eau of Comm ity Facilities,
has advanced to the City of Alameda the sum of ‘5,250.00; and
'TT1EREAS, a further sum, not to exceed ,250.00, may be paid to the
ci ty of Alameda by said Federal works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities;
and
WHEREAS, said total sum of not to exceed 10,500,00, provided to be
paid to said City of Alameda pursuant to said tgreement and Public Voucher for
Advance, BCF Form 405, shall be expended in plans for culverts and storm water
disposal systems in that part of the City of Alameda lying south of and includ-
inP, Lincoln Avenue and east of end including Eighth Street, to Hibbard Street
(extended);

of the City of Alameda, which fund shall be known as "Federal Post-War Planning

Street, to Hibbard Street,)"
DE IT F=LER RDSOLV1M that all moneys received by the City of
Alameda from the Federal 77orks Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities, pur-
suant to the provisions of said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance, DOD'
Form 405, with the Federal Works Ag7ency, Bureau of Comm ity Facilities, be
deposited in the city Treasury to the credit of said Federal Post-'7ar Plann-
ing 7 d No. 4-P-471. (Storm Drains South of Lincoln Avenue, East of 3ighth
Street, to Hibbard. Street), and that all moneys in said fund shall be ex-
pended only for the purposes authorized uy said Agreement and Public Voucher
for Advance, BCF Form 405, and may be aporopriated from time to time.
The Auditor and Treasurer of the Ciy are hereby authorized and
directed to set up and maintain in their respective offices such accounting
records as will at all times show the receipts, disbursements and unexpended
balance in said fund.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that this resolution shall supersede
resolutions, or portions thereof, in con2lict therewith.
