ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL FUND OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TO

(STORE DRAINS NORTH OF ATLANTIC AVENUE, EAST 07 FIFTH
STREET, TO EICETT-I STREET
U-EEROAS, by Resolution No. 3458 adopted by this Council on January
7, 1947, the City of Alameda entered into an Agreement and Public Voucher for
Advance, BCF _Form 405, with the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community
Facilities, for a loan of Federal funds for the purpose of planning the cul-
verts and storm water disposal systems of the City of Alameda, said Agreement
and public Voucher for Advance, ECF Form 405, being entered into pursuant to
the terms of the War Mobilization and Reconversion Oct of 1944, Title V
thereof; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance,
BOB Form 405, the said Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Comm ity Facilities,
has advanced to the City of Alameda the sum of 00.00; and
Y1H7REAS, a further sum, not to exceed 700.00, may be paid to the
City of Alameda by said Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities;
and
WTIEREAS, said total sa of not to exceed 3,_,400.00, provided to be
paid to said City of Alameda pursuant to said Agreement and Public Voucher
for Advance, BC? Form 405, shall be expended in plans for culverts and storm
water disposal systems in that part of the City of Alameda lying north of
Atlantic Avenue (extended) and east of and including -Fifth Street (extended)
to Eighth Otreet (extended)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 07 T17' CITY OF
O_A"rODA that there be, and is hereby, created and established a special fund
of the City of Alameda, which fund shall be known as "Federal Post-War Plann-
ing Fund 110. 4-P-473. (Storm Drains North of Atlantic Avenue, Oast of Fifth
street to Eighth Street)."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all moneys received by the City of
Alameda from the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities, pur-
suant to the provisions of said Agreement and Public Voucher for Advance,
Form 405, with the Federal Works Agency, Bureau of Community Facilities,
be deposited in the City Treasury to the credit of said Federal Post-War
Planning Pund No. 4-P-473. (storm Drains North of Atlantic Avenue, East
of Fifth Street, to Eighth Street), and that all moneys in said fund shall
be expended only of the purposes authorized by said Agreement and Public
Voucher for Advance, BOB Form 405, and may be aupropriated from time to
time
The Auditor and Treasurer of the City are hereby authorized and
directed to set up and maintain in their respective offices such accounting
records as will at all times show the receipts, disbursements and, unex-
pended balance in said. fund.
RESOLVED, FURTFER, that this resolution shall supersede all
resolutions, or portions thereof, in conflict therewith.
