RESOLVED 13Y THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City o Alameda. vitrified clay pipe fop replacement
of sanitary sewers on Park Street from Clinton. Avenue to Otis Drive, NO. MSS 4-47-4,
filed In the office, of the City Clerk on. April 15, 1947, be, and the sane are hereby
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
•sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, the Gth day of May,
1947, for the furnishing to the City of vitred clay pipe for replacement of sani-
tary sewers on Park Street from. Clinton Aver2o to Otis Drive, in accordance with
said Specifioations and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Vitrified. Clay Pipe for Sanitary.. Sewers", or similar
designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said. City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling. for sealed bids in accordance with. the provisions of this resolu-
tien and of said Specifications and Provisions.
