CREATING THE POSITION OF "ASSISTANT CIVIL ENGINEER"
IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
PRESCRIBING THE tUTIES 001) FIXING THE SALARY: THEREUF.
RESOLVED 13Y THE COUCIL OP THE CITY ALAMEDA, as follows :
Section 1. The position of "Assistant Civil Engineer" is hereby created
and established in the Street Department of the City of Alameda.
Section 2. The duties of the position of Assistant C'vil Engineer and
or the person holding such position shall be as follows:
Under general direction of the CIV Engineer, to perform engineering
work with a limited latitude for Independent actions and decisions.
Section 3. The salary Po i' the position of A sistant Civil Envineer be,
and is hereby, fixed as follows:
For the first year, 020. 1,er month on the basis of a 40-hour work
week, effective February 1, 1947;
r the second year, ,030, per month on the basis of a 40-1iour work
week;
For the third year, 1340. per month on the basis of a 40-hour work week.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly- introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular mooting assembled on the 8th day of ray, 1947 by tho follow-
ing vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, ()ones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Brans cheid, (5).
