Resolution 0352720 RESOLUTION NO. 3527 CREATING THE POSITION OF "CHIEF DESIGNING ENGINEER" IN ThE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY' OF ALAMEDA, ...... PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES AND FIXING. TEE SALARYITHEREOF. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01' ALAMFODA as follows: Section 1. The position of "Chief Designing Engineer is hereby created. and established in the Street Department of the City of Alameda. Section 2. The duties of the pos 'tion of Chief Designing Engineer and of the person holding such position shall be as follows: Under general direction of the City Enineer, to perform engineering work wi th a wide latitude for independent actions and decisions; to plan and diI mot the design and preparation of drawings, specifications and estimates: and to perform other work as required or directed. Section 3. The salary for the position of Chief DesiFning Engineer be, and is hereby, fixed as follows: For the first year, 440C . per month on the basis of a 40-hour work week, effective February 1, 194'7; For the second year, 415, per month on the basis of a 40-hour work week; For the third year, $430, per month on the basis of a 40-hour work week. ******************* I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda.
