CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE TEN sAME
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 02 TEI CITY 02 ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for purchasing from the City. of Alameda second-hand railway equip-
ment, filed in the office of t: City Clerk on iOay 20, 1947, be, and the same are
hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Council of City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock. P. Y. on Tuesday, the 3rd day. of June, 1947, .
for the purchase from the City of Alameda of second-hand railway equipment, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions aids must be presented to the
City Clerk,in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked. on the outside,. "Proposal for Purchase of Second-Hand Railway Equipment",
or similar designation.
Contract accepting bid, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the
provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the
highest and best bid, The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times
Star, a. notice calling for sealed. bids, in socordsnee with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Ssecifications and Provisions.

Alameda in regular meeting assembled. on the 20th day of May, 1947, by the
