and Provisions for furnishing:

to the Oity of Alameda, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1947, and ending
Jane 30, 1948, he. 1931 471 b e and :the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, 2-URT11LER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock', P. M.„ on Tuesday, the 3d day of ,Tune,
1947, for the furnishing to the City of
It. ea (a) quarry. Waste;
Item (b) Earth Fill at City: Dump,
in. accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented
to the City: Clerk, in the City. Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed sever and
plainly marked. an the outside "Proposal for quarry. Waste and Earth: Fill", or
similar desination.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City. Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the Provisions of this
Resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby: certify. that tha foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City. of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20t1 day of May, 1947, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and Presidant
Branscheid, (5).
