IN MEMORIAM OF WILLIAM. G
WITH PR:(.")FOUND SOROW, the Council of the City of Alameda records the
passing of one of its former faithful emDloyees, WILLIAN. G. PRIES, who served as
a police officer of the City for more than thirty years, prior to his retirement
in 1941.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, In recognition. of his Ion g and wet
performed servlce, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby expresses its regret,
at his passing and its appreciation of his loyalty and fidelity.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread.. in. full. upon the
minutes of this meeting of the Council, and that a copy thereof be transmitted to
the family of Mr. Pries, that it may extend to its members a sincere expre RA on. of
sympathy and condolence, and
BE IT Flumm RESOLVED that when this meeting of the Council of the City
of Alameda adjourns, it shall do so in respect to the memory of WILLIAM G. PRIES.
