PRIES, who served as a police officer of the City for more than thirty years, prior to his retirement in 1941. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, In recognition. of his Ion g and wet performed servlce, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby expresses its regret, at his passing and its appreciation of his loyalty and fidelity.
