and Plana for the construction of reinforced concrete culverts and other work appur-
tenant thereto ft the fiscal year ending June 30, 1 o4a, which Specifications,
Special Previsiona and Plans are numbered F\11 6-47-7 and were file d. with the City
Clerk of the City of Alameda on June 3, 1948;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid. Specificationa, Special Provisions and. Plans, numbered. and filed. as
aforesaid, be, and the same, are hereby, approved and adepted.
RESOLVED, FURf.ifft that the performance and-completion of thb work speci-
fied. in. said. Specifications and Provisiona be, and the an is hereby, authorized,
EESOLVED, PURTHINR, that the Council of the City of Alameda will recelve
sealed bids up to the hour of 8;05 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday,JUne 17, 1947, for the
furnishing to the City of all labor, material and equipment necessary for the con-
struction of reinforced concrete culverts and other work appurtenant thereto for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 104e, in accordance with said Spocificationa and Previ-
sions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda,
California, under sealed. cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for the
Construction of Cuiverts," or simIlar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provislona of the
Charter of said. City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may. be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Eall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in. the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed. bide In as with. the provisione of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled. on the 3rd day of June, 1247 by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney. and 'President
Drahecheid, (5).
