Mayor Spencer and the Alameda Sister City Association A\QOA) visited Dumaguete, Philippines. The Alameda delegation included the Mayor, her 21 � old ' daughter, and 15 others including ASCAof�CerG. |iaSoO to Peralta Community College District, and Youth/Family Exchange Work Group representatives. Dumaguete K8ayo. Sagarbarria invited Spencer to travel to his city to continue building the sister-cityrelationship that began when Dumaguete's delegation, including Sagabarria, visited Alameda on June 6, 2015. Alameda's visit coincided with the visit of a delegation from another of Dumaguete's sister cities, Yeongdun-Gun, South Korea, led by that city's Mayor Park Se Bok. Delegations from both Alameda and Yeongdun-Gun were on hand to help celebrate Dumaguete's 67th Charter Day, with its ^PoghirDanlaY' ceremony, including a parade and other festivities. Spencer joined Sgarbarria in signing a memorandum of agreement that outlined plans for cultural, humanitarian, educational and business exchanges between Alameda and Dumaguete over the coming years. Members of the Alameda delegation enjoyed tours of the city and participated in business, academic and government forums. The City of Dumaguete provided for the Alameda delegation, including Mayor Spencer, meals (5 Iunches and 5 dinners: estimate $200 USA total*), transportation (van, ferry, estimate $50 USA total), hotel accommodations (4 nights, estimate $30 USA eac | room/night including breakfast, estimate $120 USA total; the Mayor and her daughter shared one room) and participation in events. Each delegate, including the Mayor and her daughter, paid for their own transportation (flights) to and from Dumaguete from Alameda.
