MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
TUESDAY- -FEBRUARY 24, 2016- -6:00 P.M.
Mayor Spencer convened the meeting at 6:02 p.m.
Roll Call – Present: Councilmembers Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie and
Mayor Spencer – 4.
Absent: Councilmember Daysog – 1.
Public Comment
Former Councilmember Doug deHaan, Alameda, submitted information and expressed
concern over the cost of constructing affordable housing units, especially the senior
housing at Del Monte.
The meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(16-074) Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation (Pursuant to Government
Code § 54956.9); Case Name: Municipal Auditing Services LLC v. City of Alameda;
Court: Superior Court of the State of California, County of Alameda; Case No.:
RG15755722
Following the Closed Session, the meeting was reconvened and Mayor Spencer
announced direction was given to staff.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Spencer adjourned the meeting at 6:16 p.m.
