Resolution 15180CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 15180 ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-17 WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Alameda is required to establish an appropriations limit for FY 2016-17; and WHEREAS, the Appropriations Limit has been determined in accordance with uniform guidelines for Article XIIIB of the California Constitution; and WHEREAS, the voters approved Proposition 111 in June 1990, which allows for new adjustment formulas for the appropriations limit calculation that is responsive to local growth issues; and WHEREAS, the adjustment factors used to arrive at the FY 2016-17 limit are as follows: City Population increase of 1.98%; California State per capita personal income increase of 5.37% NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby establishes the Appropriations Limit in the amount of $111,848,988 for 2016-17. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 21 st day of June 2016, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie and Mayor Spencer — 5.
