RESOLUTION NO 3601
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND
RUNNING ALONG THE SEGREGATION LINE. IN ALAMEDA.
WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the cleaning of the
North S±oe Sewer running along the Segregation Line in Alameda, and work inci-
denta_ thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Pro-
visions and Plans for said work, which Specifications and Provisions are numbered
2W 8-47-10 and were filed in. the office of the City Clerk of said City on August
19, 1947;
NOV, TIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 olclock, P. Y., on Tuesday, September 2, 1947,
for the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and
processes, implements, tools and machinery, except as otherwise specified, neces-
sary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications
and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for the Cleaning of the North Side Sewer," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the Lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids In accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

In regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of August, 1947, by the following
