RESOLVED BY• THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Spec jfications
and Provisions for furnishing one (1) new, 1947 model, .two-door sedan automobile
to the City of Alameda (for the Fire Department), No. MS 9-47-17, filed in the
office of the City. Clerk on September 2, 1947, be, and the same are hereby,
approved and adopted.
HESOLV FIUMIU, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. Y. on Tuesday, the 16th day of
September, 1947, for the furnishing to the City of one (1) new, 1947 model, two-
door sedan automobile, in accordance with. said Specifications and Provisions.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City 'Hall, Alameda, California,
under sealed cover and plainly marked. on the outside, "Proposal for Automobile,"
or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who sbm:its the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City.. Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, In the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with. the provisions of this
resolution. and of said. Specifications and Provisiona.
