RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL. OF TUE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and . Provisions for furnishing eight (8) new, 1947 =dal, two-door sedan automobiles
to the City of Alameda, (for the Police Department) NUE, ME 9-47-12, filed in the
office of the City Clerk on September 16, 1947, be, and the same are hereby,
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Counbil of the City of AEameda will. receive
sealed. bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. Ma on Tuesday, the 7th day of October,
1947, for tbe furnishIng to the City of eight (8) new, 1947 model, two-door sedah1 .
automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and. Provisions. Bids must be
presented. to the Catty Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and. plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Eight Automobiles," or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in thb Alameda Times-
Star, a. notice calling for sealed.. blds, in accordance with. the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
