AUTHORIZING GRANT OF UTILITY EASEMENT TO PACIFIC GAS &
ELECTRIC COMPANY WITHIN NEPTUNE PARK
WHEREAS, on September 17, 2008, the City of Alameda granted a twenty-
foot (20') wide easement to Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) within Neptune Park
to relocate an existing utility line on Webster Street; and
WHEREAS, PG&E relocated the utility line and discovered additional
easement is required to cover the entire utility line already installed; and
WHEREAS, the easement restricts the City from erecting any building or
other structure or drill or operate any well under or within the strip of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk,
be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and attest to, respectively, on
behalf of the City of Alameda, a grant of said easement to PG&E.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 6th day of September, 2016, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie
and Mayor Spencer — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
