REVISING TITLES FOR THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF PUBLIC
SAFETY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS COORDINATOR
TO PUBLIC SAFETY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS
ANALYST AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS
COORDINATOR TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS
ANALYST EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 16, 2016.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has already authorized the
allocation of the classifications of Public Safety Information Technology Systems
Coordinator and Information Technology Systems Coordinator with the approval of the
Fiscal Year 2016 -2017 mid -cycle budget update approved June 7, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the Alameda Management and Confidential Employees Association
(MCEA) has reviewed and agreed with the classification title revisions; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda has authorized the title
revisions at their regular meeting of October 5, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda
that the salary schedule of the Alameda Management and Confidential Employees
Association (MCEA) is hereby amended effective October 16, 2016 to revise the
titles for the classification of Public Safety Information Technology Systems Coordinator
to Public Safety Information Technology Systems Analyst and Information Technology
Systems Coordinator to Information Technology Systems Analyst, and designating
these as applicable to this classification in the service of the City of Alameda.
