APPROVING WORKFORCE CHANGES AT ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL POWER TO ADD TWO NEW POSITIONS
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 8, 2017; ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE
REPRESENTATIVE AND ONE UTILITY PROJECT MANAGER
WHEREAS, in order to provide a workforce that is appropriately
allocated, classified and compensated at Alameda Municipal Power workforce
change are needed; and
WHEREAS, to meet service demands related to system upgrades and
projects the Public Utilities Board recommended at its regular meeting on
December 12, 2016 that the City Council add one Customer Service
Representative and one Utility Project Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that following workforce changes are approved and that the
City's authorized positions are so modified:
Alameda Municipal Power
a. Add one Customer Service Representative position
b. Add one Utility Project Manager position
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular
meeting assembled on the 3rd of January, 2017, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie, Vella
and Mayor Spencer — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
