ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ALAMEDA
POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION NON -SWORN UNIT (PANS)
SALARY SCHEDULE ESTABLISHING THE CLASSIFICATION OF
CRIME PREVENTION TECHNICIAN EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 5,
2017.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda authorized a workforce
change adjustment to add this position to the Police Department's budget during the
mid -cycle update for Fiscal Year 2016 -2017, which was approved June 7, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the Alameda Police Officers Association Non -Sworn Unit (PANS)
has reviewed and agreed with the designation of this; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda has authorized the
classification specification at their regular meeting of January 11, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the salary schedule of the Police Officers Association Non -Sworn Unit
(PANS) is hereby amended effective February 5, 2017 to establish the salary rates,
salary ranges, salary steps and benefits for the n e w classification of Crime Prevention
Technician, designating these as applicable to this classification in the service of the
City of Alameda.
