APPROVING WORKFORCE CHANGES IN THE R152ECREATION
AND PARKS DEPARTMENT, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT,
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, in order to provide a workforce that is appropriately classified
and compensated the following workforce changes are proposed as part of the
Fiscal Year 2017 -18 and 2018 -19 Budget Adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that following workforce changes are approved and that the City's
authorized positions are so modified resulting in an overall increase of five
positions to the City's total position allocation:
1. Recreation and Parks Department
• Add one Maintenance Supervisor
• Add one Maintenance Worker II
2. Public Works Department
• Add one Maintenance Foreperson
3. Community Development Department
• Add one Combination Building Inspector (2 -year limited term)
4. Information Technology Department
• Add one Systems Analyst
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular
meeting assembled on the 61h day of June 2017, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie, Vella and
Mayor Spencer — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
