MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
TUESDAY- -JULY 18, 2017- -6:30 P.M.
Mayor Spencer convened the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Roll Call – Present: Councilmembers Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie, Vella and
Mayor Spencer – 5.
Absent: None.
Public Comment
Beverly Blatt, Golf Commission, stated the matter should be addressed in open session;
discussed proposed amendments to the lease.
The meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(17-447) Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation (Pursuant to Government
Code § 54956.9); Case Name: Bailey v. City of Alameda, et al.; Court: Superior Court of
California, County of Alameda; Case Numbers: RG15781129.
Following the Closed Session, the meeting was reconvened and Mayor Spencer
announced direction was given to staff.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Spencer adjourned the meeting at 6:38 p.m.
